How is permanent makeup done?

It is a cosmetic technique, similar to tattoos and done with the same equipment whereby pigment is introduced into the top layer of the skin to create designs such as eyebrow tattoos, permanent eyeliner and permanent lipliner. The technique is medically proven and specifically designed to be completely safe.

If you are tired of spending loads of time each morning to apply your makeup only to end up with smudge and faded makeup later in the day, then having permanent makeup done is the ideal solution for you.

Tip: Apply your makeup as you like it when you have your 1st consultation with the technician. That way she can get a good idea of the look that you are comfortable with.

What You Should Know

Prepare from some discomfort during the procedure, but the area will be numbed throughout the process.
Healing of lips take 2 to 3 days.
Eyelids will swell for 1 to 2 days. You will look like you’ve had a good cry!
You will require a touch up anytime from 2 months onwards. The tattoo may last from 3 to 10 years depending on the look you want, natural, light or dark. The quicker you do your touch up the longer it will last.
